Junior right wing Garrett Wait poked home a Bobby Trivigno rebound at 14:30 of overtime to lift UMass to a 3-2 victory over two-time defending national champion Minnesota Duluth in a game that finished early Friday morning at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pa. UMass improved to 19-5-4 and avenged a 3-0 loss to Duluth in the 2019 championship game.
UMass will face St. Cloud State in the title game on Saturday night at 7 p.m. St. Cloud scored the game-winner with under a minute remaining...
