    The pitch in question was close, but not egregious. Alex Cora got himself ejected anyways. Cora was tossed for arguing balls and strikes after Justin Verlander's 98-mph fastball to strike out Andrew Benintendi with the bases loaded to end the fifth inning of the Red Sox' 7-2 loss to the Astros in Game 2 of the American League Championship Series last night. Veteran bench coach Ron Roenicke called the shots for the rest of the game. Afterward, Cora appeared remorseful for his actions.

    The pitch in question was close, but not egregious. Alex Cora got himself ejected anyways. Justin Verlander's 98-mph fastball to strike out Andrew Benintendi with the bases loaded to end the fifth inning earned Cora an ejection in the fifth inning and turned the game over to veteran bench coach Ron Roenicke last night. The Red Sox had just tied the game and the score was 2-2 against the Houston Astros in Game 1 of the American League Championship Series entering the sixth inning.
