    President Trump appointee U.S. Attorney Andrew Lelling, who has never held an elected position, said on Sunday he “wouldn't rule out” running for office in the future.
    Lelling, whose days are likely waning as the leader of the Massachusetts office, told WCVB-TV that he could imagine “seeking another executive branch appointment in a Republican administration or running for office.”
    “I wouldn't rule out any of those things,” Lelling said on Sunday.
