• Tedisco, Putman face off at forum Wednesday night

    BURNT HILLS - Candidates vying for the state Senate 49th District seat will face off at 7 p.m. at the Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Senior High School Wednesday.
    Longtime Republican Assemblyman Jim Tedisco and Schenectady Deputy City Clerk Chad Putman, a Democrat, are competing for the seat that will be left vacant when Sen. Hugh Farley retires this year.
    The 49th District stretches from Schenectady to the Adirondacks.
