• Devils' leading scorer called up to NHL

    Rookie forward John Quenneville, who leads the Albany Devils in scoring, was recalled late Wednesday by the New Jersey Devils. Quenneville, 20, will join the team in Chicago and could make his NHL debut Thursday night against the Blackhawks. He had seven goals and 10 assists in 17 games for the A-Devils, tied with Guentzel of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton for the AHL lead in points by a rookie. New Jersey placed forward Beau Bennett on injured reserve, retroactive to Monday, because of a right leg laceration.
