    The race for the 113th state Assembly seat is a contest between two women - a two-term incumbent who cites a long list of accomplishments and a political newcomer who feels the state does not reflect her values.
    Democrat Carrie Woerner of Round Lake is being challenged by Republican Morgan Zegers of Malta for the purple district that encompasses eastern Saratoga and southern Washington counties.
    Woerner wants to continue her bipartisan work while Zegers wants to move the district in a more conservative, less taxed direction.
